Unfortunately this society has deified the gender boundaries they've established, especially the rules of what boys should and should not enjoy doing. This is why little girls are praised for interest in "boyish" activities, but boys who do the opposite are seldom tolerated. So such a character, by his fairy-like qualities and elfin appearance, represents a literal blaspheme against their "god". No wonder few stage productions have dared to cast a male for this character, despite the many talented actors, songwriters, and directors available! (Only a few like Disney and more recently PJ Hogan have had the guts to do so.) Yet it is for these very reasons that this character suits me perfectly. Besides, the God of Love that Jesus spoke of is the only one I serve. Too bad modern religion seems to have missed that.

I also just found a great interview with GSP on his upcoming fight! Guys, I was on my way to work when I heard Georges St Pierre promoting his upcoming fight on a radio show.
He spoke about Fitch and argued that this would be his toughest challenge to date but he'd win because he'd put himself through gruesome training.
The DJ called St Pierre one of the best fighters in the world and Georges acknowledged that he was one of the best but added in his gruff and serious tone(paraphrasing) "but I am no Anderson Silva".
He went on to complement Fedor as well and said that he hoped that he'd prove himself one day and enter the same level as the two. He talked about how he was young and had time to train harder and longer and gave great complements to Fitch.
He thought that his match with Fitch was one of his most important to date, mentally, since, according to him, he'd had a bad year last year.
Fingers crossed...I hope Georges pulls off his first title defence convincingly. Him, Fedor, Franklin and Anderson Silva are the best representatives of MMA alive.
